La Cantinella brings Italian favourites to Jeddah

Located in Al Rawdah, the menu draws inspiration from Naples.

Jeddah is home to amazing restaurants, from celebrity chefs to homegrown concepts. Now, the new restaurant, La Cantinella, is coming to the city. Drawing inspiration from Italy, it will be located in Al Rawdah. The opening date for has not been confirmed, but here’s what we do know.

La Cantinella will showcase food from Naples with a Saudi influence. The venue describes itself as offering a premium casual setting, and includes a bright, airy aesthetic with beiges, browns and whites. The full menu has not yet been unveiled, but we know that it will combine traditional cooking techniques with innovative ideas. We are anticipating a mix of pizzas and pastas.

La Cantinella is from the same group behind a range of restaurants in the region. In Abu Dhabi, YANA aims to offer a classy and contemporary dining experience. The menu will celebrate Pan Asian and Peruvian cuisine. The dishes will fuse the different regions’ cooking techniques and ingredients. The team draws inspiration from tradition and prides itself on its attention to detail.

Plus, the group is behind Abu Dhabi’s James Café and the soon-to-open Nira. James Café is located in Al Reem and showcases French food. The restaurant serves breakfast, lunch, and dinner. Dishes include Avocado on Toast, Egg Benedict, and Scrambled Champignon. Nira is a new Indian-Mirati concept that will open in Al Qana. Details of the full menu have not yet been revealed, but it will include rice and meat blends, kebabs, and more.
