FACT First Look: ReFIVE Spa in FIVE LUXE JBR

FACT takes an exclusive look inside the new stylish spa.  

FIVE LUXE JBR has opened in Dubai, UAE, with a range of restaurants, a private pool, a beach club and a state-of-the-art spa. ReFIVE Spa is home to a world-class world of wellness, and offers treatments for the mind, body and soul. FACT was granted a first look inside the spa, which is a serene and stylish spot.

Located across the fifth and sixth floor, ReFIVE Spa brings together treatment rooms, an indoor pool, a rooftop terrace, an outdoor terrace and a 24/7 gym. Guests can take their pick from a range of treatments including facials, massages and a hammam experience.

ReFIVE Spa is a modern marvel. When you set foot into the venue, it stands out from other spas, which are often located in a basement and lack light. The lightbulbs look like works of art, and come in snazzy shapes. The white marble floor and walls add a sophisticated shine, and are punctuated by brass and gold features.

The plush pink seats in the waiting area add a softer side. Plus, the shelves are packed with products, from Otto oils for massages to bags, headbands and necklaces, which are created by a local designer.

ReFIVE Spa’s treatment rooms span single and double rooms. The rooms boast brown furnishings and dim lighting, and each one contains a shower as well as a toilet. The features range from healing quartz beds to sound healing.

For those looking for a traditional treatment, ReFIVE Spa’s hammam is a haven for rejuvenation. The hammam is a discreet and decadent spot. The clean, contemporary design includes beiges and browns, and twinkly lights across the walls and ceiling.

Marina Pavlovic, Spa Manager, explained: “We have a hammam room, and do different treatments. We have warm marble and a steam room, which prepares the guest’s skin before we do the treatment. We can accommodate two people who know each other at the same time, and it’s great for friends to partners”.

After the treatments, guests are led to ReFIVE Spa’s sleek spot. A range of different teas, detoxifying water and healthy snacks are available.

ReFIVE Spa is open on weekdays from 10am to 10pm, and weekends from 10am to midnight.
