Jimmy Carr brings his world tour to Abu Dhabi

Taking place on Saturday, 11 January 2025, at Etihad Arena, Jimmy Carr in Abu Dhabi promises a night of laughter. The British-Irish comedian is bringing his world tour, Laughs Funny, to the UAE, which is expected to be a sold-out show.

For those unfamiliar with Jimmy Carr, he’s a popular name in the global comedy scene. He started his career in 1997 and has since appeared on several TV shows, such as A Comedy Roast, 8 Out of 10 Cats, and many more, cementing his position in the entertainment world. He also has several Netflix appearances to his name, including Funny Business, His Dark Material, and Natural Born Killer.

Apart from an expansive list of television, digital streaming and movie appearances, Jimmy Carr has several accolades under this belt as well. These feature 2003’s Royal Television Society Award for Best On-Screen Newcomer, LAFTA Award for Best Stand Up and British Comedy Award for Best Live Stand Up to name a few.

Jimmy Carr’s upcoming show in Abu Dhabi isn’t the first time he’s performed in the UAE. The stand-up comic was in Dubai earlier this year as part of the Dubai Comedy Festival at Dubai Opera.
