French jewellery brand Baccarat set to open crystal hotel

Anchored in crystal and opulence, Baccarat Hotel New York is known for what it does best – sparkle. So, of course, it was only a matter of time until the ‘City of Gold’ got its very own outpost. Shamal Holding is behind the upcoming development of Baccarat Hotel & Residences Dubai, which is set to open in 2026 and will be the iconic crystal brand’s first property in the UAE. Offering a level of elegance reflective of its heritage, the hotel will be part of a new ultra-luxury, mixed-use development in Downtown Dubai.

The architecturally striking structure that will be Baccarat Hotel & Residences Dubai is crystalline, creating a majestic presence that will shine brightly amongst the skyline of Downtown Dubai. Offering uninterrupted views of the Burj Khalifa, the Dubai Frame, Al Fahidi Fort, and the Dubai Creek, the hotel will host 144 rooms and suites alongside 49 Baccarat-branded residences and four F&B outlets.

The construction of the Baccarat Hotel & Residences Dubai utilises architectural design by renowned firm Studio Libeskind and interior design studio, 1508 London. The two-towered building features glimmering glass facades reflective of desert sand, sea, and sun as well as exquisite Baccarat crystal, creating a sophisticated mark of difference that thoughtfully harmonises with the city skyline. With easy access to both new and old Dubai – and in close proximity to The Dubai Mall and DIFC from its Downtown location – visitors can quickly and easily connect with renowned institutions from the worlds of fashion, food, art and entertainment.
