The flying restaurant in Abha is taking off

The experience takes place during Aseer Season.

Dinner with a view takes on a whole new meaning, thanks to a new flying restaurant in Abha, Saudi Arabia. The experience takes guests into the sky with tables and chairs suspended from a crane. So, if you’re looking for a memorable meal, here’s what you need to know.

The flying restaurant in Abha is proving popular on Instagram and sees guests suspended 50 meters above the ground at the Tihama viewpoint in the Fog Walkway in Abha. The videos show diners strapping themselves into the seats, as the crane then moves them up into the air. Guests’ feet dangle as they are then served food and drinks. The chef and staff are up in the air, too, and provide the meals to the table.
