Diljit Dosanjh to perform in Abu Dhabi this November

The singer is officially bringing his Dil-Luminati World Tour to the UAE.

UAE, the wait is finally over. After months of anticipation, Diljit Dosanjh is bringing his much-awaited Dil-Luminati Tour to Abu Dhabi.

Taking place on Saturday, 9 November, at Etihad Park on Yas Island, Diljit Dosanjh will turn up the capital with his Punjabi beats, which have sold out shows across the world. The Indian singer will bring his signature blend of dance numbers and soulful melodies for one night only.

Diljit Dosanjh is excited about bringing his world tour to the UAE capital. “This is something I’ve been looking forward to, and I can’t wait to share the magic with my fans at Etihad Park,” said the singer. “I encourage you all to bring your energy and enthusiasm because Abu Dhabi, we’re going to make this night extraordinary!”

Last year, Diljit Dosanjh made history as the first Indian artist to perform at Coachella. Some of his biggest hits include Lover, G.O.A.T., Born to Shine and Lemonade. He also made waves on the global stage, appearing on The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon and performing alongside Ed Sheeran during the British singer’s concert in India. He recently also collaborated with Sia for their track Hass Hass which has amassed over 152 million views on YouTube — his most-viewed track on the platform.

Apart from music, Diljit Dosanjh’s journey from regional Punjabi cinema to Bollywood stardom has been nothing short of spectacular. He made his Bollywood debut in 2016 with the critically acclaimed Udta Punjab and hasn’t looked back since.

While the Abu Dhabi show will mark Diljit Dosanjh’s debut performance in the capital, he is no stranger to the UAE. In 2018, he performed in Dubai for a Holi event, but this time, with his skyrocketing global stature, he’s set to rock the socks off the capital.
