Sephora brings SEPHORiA mega beauty event to Dubai

Expect masterclasses, make-up stations and more. 

Dubai, it’s time to get made up. The beauty brand Sephora has announced that SEPHORiA Dubai will be making its debut in the city. Launching in November, the event brings together haircare, make-up, nails and fragrances. If you’re a beauty fan, here’s what you need to know. 

On Instagram, Sephora Middle East shared cryptic posts that hinted at a special event in Dubai. One post pictured a bunch of balloons inside a Sephora bag, and the background showed Dubai Marina. Another post pictured a cup on the beach, and the background showed the Dubai skyline including the Burj Khalifa. The captions read: “Something big is coming. Can you guess what it is?” Fans were quick to answer, and suggest that it must be SEPHORiA Dubai. Soon, it was confirmed that SEPHORiA in Dubai would take place from 6 to 8 November at Coca-Cola Arena.

SEPHORiA has already made its way to Los Angeles and New York. Now, it is making its way to Dubai. The details have not yet been announced, but judging by previous events, it will include masterclasses, beauty experts and plenty of products. Expect stations for all things beauty, from perfumes to make-up. Plus, ticket holders were previously given samples and goodie bags. 

Founded in 1969 in France, Sephora covers cosmetics, haircare, fragrances and skincare. In 1970, the first store opened in Paris, and the flagship store is on Champs Elysees. Today, there are more than 2,000 stores across 34 countries. In Dubai, the brand can be found in Dubai Hills, Dubai Festival City, Dubai Mall, Dubai Marina Mall, JBR and Nakheel Mall.
