New York’s most beloved burger joint is opening Black Tap in Jeddah

Black Tap is opening in La Paz Plaza.

Any foodie worth their salt has sampled the gargantuan burgers and crazyshakes that have made Black Tap Insta-famous. So it was only a matter of time before the craze headed west to Jeddah from Riyadh, where the dining scene is evolving by the day. The New York burger joint’s second outpost in Saudi Arabia will take up residence in La Paz Plaza.

Black Tap Jeddah is expected to sport the vibrant New York ambience found in similar branches across the globe, complete with neon signs, graffiti art, grey bricks, and a graphic black-and-white floor – not to mention its FACT award-winning food and trendy playlist.

Black Tap Jeddah

The casual eatery offers an array of burgers that are not only delicious but have also made Black Tap one of the world’s most Instagrammable burger joints. The selection ranges from the classic American cheeseburgers like The Texan (a beef patty with cheddar cheese, a crispy onion ring, and mayo) to more inventive options, such as one featuring arugula, buttermilk dill and blue cheese. Chicken sandwiches and wings are also available, as are a range of sides and starters – french fries and loaded options included.

The casual diner is famous for its Instagram-worthy Crazyshakes. These dessert-meets-milkshakes look like a Willy Wonka creation, piled high with ice cream, toppings, and endless sweet treats. Aside from the mind-blowing mega shakes and plates that are perfect for the gram, the thumping beats and friendly staff create an energetic atmosphere that welcomes everyone.

Black Tap Jeddah is in good culinary company at La Paz Plaza, which already houses the Egyptian eatery Balcona 99, Parisian café Bo&Mie, Lebanese restaurant Villa Fayrouz, and the soon-to-open Jon & Vinny’s.
