From Bali to Al Bateen: Zali brings Lebanese cuisine to the capital

Expect a fresh take on Mediterranean flavours.

Abu Dhabi’s culinary landscape shows no signs of slowing down. With the capital becoming an increasingly popular dining destination, new restaurants are popping up left, right, and centre, including the upcoming Isabel, Novikov and SUSHISAMBA. And now, adding to this mix is Zali Abu Dhabi.

Located in Al Bateen, Zali Abu Dhabi is a Lebanese restaurant from Bali, Indonesia. The restaurant follows a sharing-style concept promoting Levantine warmth and a love for Mediterranean food. “The concept of Zali was born from our love for food and belief that sharing food is sharing stories and spreading happiness,” says Lisa Maalouf, the chef and inspiration behind Zali. “What we serve at Zali is exactly what we eat and share every day around our family dining table.”
