Start 2025 off in style. The legendary American singer Lionel Richie has announced he is coming to Dubai. The hitmaker will perform at The Atlantis, The Palm’s New Year’s Eve Gala Dinner, and here’s how you can get your hands on tickets.
Atlantis, The Palm has welcomed big names for its New Year’s Eve concerts, from Kylie Minogue and Robbie Williams to Sting. This year’s masquerade ball theme takes place on a custom-built deck under the starlit sky. The evening includes a 30-piece live band, a buffet with dishes ranging from lobster to caviar, and live cooking stations.
Taking place on 31 December, Lionel Richie will be the highlight of the New Year’s Eve celebrations. Not only will you be able to enjoy his soulful melodies, but you will witness them with the backdrop of the New Year fireworks at the Palm. Sounds magical, doesn’t it?
On the dining front, you will be able to indulge in canapes and a variety of free-flowing beverages. A buffet will also run throughout the night with offerings such as lobster, caviar, sushi, live cooking stations, an array of desserts and much more.
Apart from the Gala buffet, you can also choose to find your spot at one of the 20 VIP Sky Suites at Atlantis The Palm. You’ll have a private butler to take care of you while dining on dishes from the hotel’s selection of restaurants such as Hakkasan, La Mar by Gaston Acurio, Milos and Nobu.
For those unversed with Lionel Richie, he’s been wowing audiences with his melodies and heart-touching lyrics since the late 60s. His titular debut album, released in 1982, shot his career to new heights, and there has been no stopping him since. Over the years, he’s given hits such as Hello, Stuck On You, Penny Lover, and many others. And now he’s heading to Dubai.
Tickets to see Lionel Richie at Atlantis, The Palm are live now and start at AED 4,500, going up to AED 20,000.
