The Dorchester Collection will open a second hotel in Dubai

The Alba Hotel and Residences will open on Palm Jumeirah.

Dubai is home to some of the best hotels and resorts in the world. Some of the biggest launches in recent memory include Atlantis The Royal, One&Only One Za’abeel and The Lana – Dorchester Collection. However, The Dorchester Collection isn’t stopping at The Lana, as Dubai will soon be home to The Alba Hotel and Residences.

The Alba Hotel and Residences will be located on the East Crescent of Palm Jumeirah. This beachfront destination will blend modern design, natural beauty, and ultra-luxurious accommodations and amenities, offering breathtaking views of the Arabian Gulf.

The Alba Hotel will be designed by the world-renowned Zaha Hadid Architects, who also designed The Opus building in Downtown Dubai and the KAFD Metro station in Riyadh. The hotel will feature 95 keys with interiors by Gilles et Boissier. Likewise, The Alba Residences, with private beach access, will feature one to four-bedroom apartments, each with private pools and vast open spaces that are perfect for hosting.

In terms of amenities, The Alba won’t disappoint. On the hotel side, you’ll find everything from fine dining restaurants to a wellness spa that promises to be a serene escape. With lush gardens, you’ll find yourself in the lap of luxury — and nature. As for the residences, expect a branded wellness centre with treatment rooms, swimming and vitality pools, a fitness suite, children’s pools, a cinema, and a business centre. The Alba will ensure that there’s something for everyone and for every need.

Self-described as the brand’s first garden retreat by the sea, The Alba Hotel and Residences is currently under construction and set to open in 2028. While it may feel like a long wait, this is one addition to Dubai’s skyline you won’t want to miss.
