Glamorous Rüya Dubai is opening at The St. Regis Dubai, The Palm

The upmarket Turkish restaurant returns to Dubai this December.

The St. Regis Dubai, The Palm is fast becoming a dining destination. The luxury hotel is home to the all-day dining venue Cordelia, world-famous SUSHISAMBA Dubai, and the newly opened beach club Kyma Beach Dubai. Now, it is adding the high-end Turkish restaurant Rüya Dubai to the list, as it is scheduled to open in December.

Rüya Dubai describes itself as specialising in Anatolian cuisine, and the menu is inspired by restaurateur Umut Ozkanca’s Istanbul heritage. Guests can enjoy food hailing from Western Asia’s Anatolian region, as well as the Mediterranean and the banks of the Black Sea. If the London menu is anything to go by, we’re hoping that it brings together its much-loved dishes ranging from kofte to kebabs and steaks to seabass.

Rüya has had quite the culinary journey. Rüya was originally in Grosvenor House Dubai, and got a new lease of life in JW Marriott Grosvenor House London. While you can find the restaurant in London’s upmarket Mayfair, we are excited about its return to Dubai and its new Palm Jumeirah location.

The name Rüya itself means ‘dream’ in Turkish, and the venue aims to create an enchanting dining experience. In true St. Regis style, the décor is timelessly elegant. The restaurant is warmly lit with a shimmering chandelier, and boasts Art Décor influences, from the 1920s-inspired tiles to the statement-worthy gold bar.

Umut Özkanca, founder of Rüya, explains: “We at Doğuş Hospitality & Retail Group, are delighted to partner with The St. Regis Dubai, The Palm to launch our latest venue in the city. Rüya Dubai flows from a long line of efficacious dining concepts across the city. This concept brings the dream to life at the iconic Palm Tower placing both brands in the forefront of changing the culinary landscape of Palm Jumeirah.”

Marwan Fadel, General Manager of The St. Regis Dubai, The Palm, adds: “An exceptional partnership has been forged with Doğuş Group who have achieved success through a variety of culinary concepts across the world. We are excited to introduce London’s popular lifestyle-driven concept, Rüya, at The St. Regis Dubai, The Palm elevating our epicurean offerings for our guests and also the residents of Dubai”.

Sounds like a dream to us.
